I think this is so fascinating and such a cool way to reward employees for longevity and dedication. It’s very innovative but also personal. And fun!
the weekend.
This weekend was quintessentially a perfect New York City winter weekend.
Per the brief updates in the posts, Friday night I had Lauren over for dinner and then we went to see the writers of HelloGiggles.com perform at the Upright Citizens Brigade (two of my favorite things colliding into one). The show was very funny and cute and just a total chick-fest.

Praying for Lauren Scruggs →
This weekend a girl I went to high school with was in a terrible accident. Her and I had many friends in common and hung out on occasion, and my heart is just broken for her and for her family as they go through this long process of recovery.
She was exiting a prop plane in Dallas and walked too close to the front propeller and it slashed her face, cut her eye, did a lot of damage to her...

I read this a few months ago. It resonated then, and it’s resonating now. There’s something about this stage of life that causes you to need a few reminders about what’s important, what you’re doing, etc.
