I am in full preparation mode for Christmas! Last week I did lots of baking, complete with cute holiday-themed bags that I found at my favorite neighborhood arts & crafts store.
Over the weekend I did an event called Santacon with some friends. It’s basically tons of people all over New York dressed like Santas (or other Christmas-themed things) hopping all around the city. We did we a very low-key version of this; however our costumes were awesome.
There were 16 girls that got together and dressed as reindeer - the original 9 reindeer plus 7 others that we came up with. New reindeer included Baller & Rapper (cousins of Dancer), Romancer (Cupid’s cousin), Randolph (Rudolph’s estranged brother), and Olive, the other reindeer. I was quite proud of our creativity.
To make it even more fun, Elizabeth was in town for all of the festivities, so I got to spend the whole day with her!
All in all, it was the perfect way to kickoff the holiday season!
