my friend Shay sent this to me today and i absolutely love it! isn’t it beautiful?
this year already has so much ahead - weddings, showers, trips, new opportunities, new goals, etc. there have been moments over the last few days where i’ve stressed about this, but today i am choosing peace.
i’ve been in the midst of chaos and with God’s grace, faced it head on time and again - my mom’s death, breakups, fall outs, moving to NYC, and more. i’ve come out a better person through the lessons and hardships along the way. i have a gut feeling that’s going to be this year. i know some of what 2012 holds and it’s already starting to have more changes and events than i’d anticipated, but that’s exciting! i’ve always said i would rather live a full, fruitful, exciting adventure than just go along always feeling happy and complacent. i don’t want to be just existing, i want to be stretched.
so 2012, bring it on. i know God’s got a lot in store for me this year, and i’m excited for the journey.
